14 feet tall and the phone has started to ring.
Not long now before I have steady divorce work.
The billboard follow certain rules I’ve come up with. 1- Simple information. 2- Face to the far outside – Text on the side of the road. 3- Phone number that can be remembered in one sighting.

Congratulations! Been a very informative blog for a guy who is dreaming of starting a practice. How many calls have you gotten, and how good have they been?
I’ve only received a few phone calls so far, but my primary number has only been up for about a week. I think they’ll start to flow in more steadily in time. The calls are average, some being promising (set appointments).
Curious, how much did it cost you to put up that billboard?
A billboard like that will set you back a little over a thousand dollars a month.
Since you are fresh out of law school, I assume you don’t have that much in assets. Where did you get the start up capital?
I’ve been licensed for a year. Family loan.
Congratulations, Michael.
I have just featured your firm and the billboard on my blog. Check it out at http://www.koehlerlaw.net.
Many thanks! Of course, congratulations will only be in order if the sign works.
Any new updates? How is business so far?
I’ve signed a couple of new clients. Calls are becoming more frequent. Business is slow, but I think the pace will pick up in time.
Been following the growth of your firm, and it’s very interesting. Learned a lot from your website, and I just opened my own firm this month. Getting clients has certainly been the biggest challenge.
Any updates?
